She has more than 13 years of experience at Johnson&Johnson Consumer Health, working with product development, technology platforms, project management, and external partnerships with universities, suppliers and startups in the area of consumer personal care.

Erin works with our entrepreneurs as MORSE representing, with the main goal of finding the correct IP Strategy studying each case, to give them the best support and to provide guidelines to our companies through the challenges of their future growth. handles a broad range of intellectual property issues in the life sciences. Erin currently works with a variety of clients including universities, research organizations, and start-ups in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology areas. She has extensive experience in the preparation and prosecution of both U.S. and foreign patent applications, as well as in researching and analyzing legal and technical issues, in drafting opinions, and in preparing reexamination requests. Erin is also proficient in assisting with various phases of IP litigation and counseling, including patent.

With more than 15 years in Corporate Finance, and 10 in the entrepreneur ecosystem, she’s the founder of LoM Smart Finance, where she supports and prepares new entrepreneurs to be successful in their financings and finding investors.

With 20 years of experience leading international pharmaceutical companies, both in Chile and abroad, Claudio is part of the financial due diligence committee, in which the financial screening of each startup is carried out in order to define their gaps and establish the next steps to work on them together. Claudio supports entrepreneurs in finance area providing them tools to understand and manage their financial situation, cash flow planning and business plan preparation. Training and leadership of teams and companies which have been assuming new challenges as a result of growth or crisis due to restructuring is part of his experience.

Stanley works with our entrepreneurs as MORSE representing, with the main goal of finding the correct IP Strategy studying each case, to give them the best support and to provide guidelines to our companies through the challenges of their future growth. Stan advises clients in developing and implementing strategies to protect their intellectual property, with a particular focus on clients in the life sciences industry. Stan supports clients’ domestic and international licensing initiatives by conducting in-depth due diligence evaluations and by negotiating and drafting a variety of license, development and supply agreements.

Jane works with our promising entrepreneurs from the earliest stages of the program, to make sure they feel confident about speaking in English to international investors and other stakeholders. She is responsible for coaching them to produce a winning pitch and storytelling in the final competition. Her frequent work with the BBC Science Unit means that she is able to help them make their proposals clear and appealing to a wider audience of possible investors and future clients.

Luis Fonseca works with our promising entrepreneurs at all stages of their companies and product development, on advisory and strategy support roles, to guide them on commercial and product launch / access strategies that can provide them sustainable growth and successful product/therapy adoption. Luis is an accomplished global executive with a proven track record on taking MedTech, Digital Health and Health IT businesses to double-digit growth. Either building from early stages or turning low performances around but consistently building solid Strategic Plans and High-Performance Cultures in which the Team can thrive and grow.

With more than 18 years of experience in corporate finance, investment strategy, management consulting, strategic planning, R&D, and innovation, Jerónimo will support startups at more advanced stages in financial planning based on the strategy defined by the startup.

Through The Ganesha Lab’s collaboration with UC Davis Venture Catalyst, Mike plays a role in supporting international startups looking to accelerate their companies and explore a location in the Davis-Sacramento region for efficient access to US markets and capital. Coordinating with campus and community partners, the Venture Catalyst team helps facilitate connections to knowledge networks, early-stage business support services, R&D resources and go-to-market connections. Since joining in 2017, he has supported the team in developing and implementing a robust suite of programs that have contributed to a vibrant entrepreneurial community at UC Davis.

Greg Mannix works with The Ganesha Lab’s entrepreneurs in the life sciences biotech and medtech fields, advising and mentoring on strategy and international fundraising, and helping to make connections that can help move the technology forward. : Greg Mannix is a senior international business development, sales and marketing professional in the field of medical technology. He has been working for the past 6 years in the Boston/Cambridge life science hub, where he set up US operations for a Spanish medical device company before joining Life Science Nation, providing early-stage companies with the tools and strategies to succesfully fundraise and to facilitate cross-boarder investments, licensing and M&A transactions.

A biochemist, postgraduate background in Science and Business, with experience in biotechnology, Human Health, Oncology, Animal Health, Aquaculture, Bioproduction and Scientific Research markets, Tomás plays an active role in the Business Due Dilligence Committee.

Throughout his 20-year career, Tomás has held leadership roles in chilean and leading multinational companies, both in local and latin american markets.

As the CEO and founder of Ingensity IP, Erica brings her expertise to collaborate with startups enriching and refining their IP strategies. This collaborative effort involves diving into the scope and depth of a company’s IP assets, as well as understanding the extensive IP landscape.
Erica’s background includes a tenure as a partner at a law firm, where she specialized in patent litigation, primarily within the life sciences sector. Prior to her legal career, Erica pursued science, earning a B.S. in biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of California at Berkeley, and conducting post-doctoral research at the University of Illinois. Erica also spent a number of years managing research in the biotechnology industry.
