The startup, known for its innovative, sustainable, consistent, and cost-effective advanced botanical materials for agricultural and pharmaceutical applications, received the recognition “Best New Biopesticide” for Quillibrium.

Upon winning the Crop Science Award, Gastón Salinas, CEO of Botanical Solutions Inc. (BSI) stated that “we have demonstrated that Quillibrium® is a great tool for growers looking for highly efficacious integrated pest management strategies against rapidly changing climate and disease pressure conditions”.

A great alliance, for certain, considering that one of the most highly contested awards was for Best Industry Collaboration, a category in which BSI and Syngenta were named finalists.

This is the second recognition received by BSI this year. In May, the World BioProtection Forum granted them the Best Biotech Startup Business award based on the company’s discovery, innovativeness, scientific value, and successful commercialization of its bio fungicide Quillibrium® for fruit and vegetable growers worldwide.
